A drapey style batwing cocoon style shrug cardi featuring a scoop hem and open front. A super versatile cardigan designed for the snuggle factor.  Choose from a hood or no hood, simple back or feature back.  There is also a pocket option.  Elbow length short sleeve/cuff or wrist length options interchangeable on all views.  This looks great equally styled over a fitted dress or cami and your favourite jeans for the cooler days.

The length remains the same for all views. Keep snug as a bug.

Fit Information:

The pattern is a multi-size pattern to fit the size range of XXS - 4XL.

The cardi is a relaxed, easy wearing fit with open front. The short sleeves are approx 3/4 length, the long sleeves are fitted from elbow to wrist

Fabric Information:

This is a pattern designed for knit fabrics

For best results please choose light to medium summer weight knits with at least 30% horizontal stretch such as Merino, DBP, Hacci, C/L, Bamboo, Poly-Cotton and Elastane (Lycra) blends. Sweatshirting fleece or similar fabrics wth less stretch may be used but choose a different option for the sleeves such as Cotton-Elastane (C/L) or Ribbing.  Please see the "More Information" tab for further details.

The Teal shown in the images was sewn in a sweatshirting fleece with Ribbing sleeves

The Raspberry seen in the images is a Nuyarn (Merino/Nylon)

View A is very easy beginner sewing, View B is slightly more challenging (Intermediate due to the button and buttonholes) View C is confident beginner level

Please ensure before you print that your printer settings are set to "DO NOT SCALE" (Print actual size)

Please print the page with the test square as a single print job before you send the full pdf document to the printer, with your printer settings on "do not scale". This will print a test size square which you can measure to ensure the pattern will print to the correct size. There is a square of 10cm, and a square of 4inch

These print in black ink with grainlines in red ink. You may prefer to change your print settings to "draft" to save ink.

You will need Adobe Reader to read the file and a printer to print out the pattern.
