Description:

An oversized menswear shaped lumber jacket style shirt-jacket.  A relaxed fit, the perfect balance of cool-casual.  Choose from 2 lengths.  This design has button up pleated cuffs, a centre front button placket, long sleeves and features a drop shoulder with back yoke "action" pleat. A perfect choice for checks or plaids. Choose a lighter flannel for a year round layering piece - or a heavier winter weight woven for winter warmth. Wear with your favourite knit and jeans.

Fit Information:

The pattern is a multi-size pattern to fit the TND size range of XXS - 5XL.

The pattern is designed for a menswear shape - it is more triangular than womenswear - please check your measurements against the "Actual" fit chart carefully - you may need to add ease in to the hip area, or go up a size at the hip and blend (grade)

Fabric Information:

This is a pattern designed for woven fabrics

For best results please choose medium weight winter woven fabric. This can be made in lighter weights such as brushed flannel, or in heavier winter jacket style weights such as acrylic blend or brushed blends. To decide on fabrics, please make sure you can sew through 5 layers.  Light to medium coat weights, wool blends, suiting weights are best. The side seam pocket option is best with View A, but may be sewn with View B - please see the end of the video sew-a-long for my views on this.  The hood option is best for heavier weights.  Please see the website listing for more fabric options.

Garments Shown: Rust Colour is View A with Hood - with front flap buttons sewn in a wool melton. Check is View A with Collar and side seam pockets sewn in a brushed acrylic blend.  Black/White is View B sewn with a with front patch pockets only - without the flaps but has side seam pockets

Please ensure before you print that your printer settings are set to "DO NOT SCALE" (Print actual size)

Please print the page with the test square as a single print job before you send the full pdf document to the printer, with your printer settings on "do not scale". This will print a test size square which you can measure to ensure the pattern will print to the correct size. There is a square of 10cm, and a square of 4inch

These print in black ink with grainlines in red ink. You may prefer to change your print settings to "draft" to save ink.

You will need Adobe Reader to read the file and a printer to print out the pattern.
