Pattern #1722 Statement Sweatshirt
Statement Sweatshirt Sewing Pattern
This design came about as I wanted a shorter length sweatshirt and I had a piece of stretch lace that I loved and wanted to make into a transeasonal layering piece.
You could make this design equally as well in many types of stretch fabrics that are mid weight - think French Terry, Merino (over 185gsm) or a Double Brushed Polyester or French Terry with a fabulous print. The pattern was kept deliberately simple, so you can make the most of a special piece of fabric.
This is a very easy sew for a beginner sewer. It is completely constructed on an overlocker.
Construction instructions are included.
A sew-a-long video is included to help you with construction.
All seam and hem allowances are included.
The pdf is a Multi-size pattern fitting XXS-4XL

Please ensure before you print that your printer settings are set to "DO NOT SCALE" (Print actual size)
Please print the page with the test square as a single print job before you send the full pdf document to the printer, with your printer settings on "do not scale". This will print a test size square which you can measure to ensure the pattern will print to the correct size. This square is 10cm (which is just short of 4 inches - 3 15/16")
These print in black ink with grainlines in red ink. You may prefer to change your print settings to "draft" to save ink.
