You can make this retro style medieval cooking apron in cotton linen and use as a kitchen apron, for baking, work, cleaning, flower shop, as a smock, for a hairdresser or bib style garden overall dress

Fit:

I have called these sizes S-M and L-XL but the apron is easily wearable above and below these general size ranges - they are more an indication of bust size than actual "fit". The S-M is based on a B cup, the L-XL is based on a D cup and is wider.

The apron is a generous fit to allow for side coverage: the strap length is adjustable to help fit different sizes and heights.

The bib front sits low on the chest - the strap length changes the height

Fabric:

Please purchase a woven fabric - medium to heavier weights are best. Choose durable fabric for best results such as craft cottons, drill, duck, denim, canvas or linen.

Trims:

You will need 2 buttons - suggested size is 36L - 23mm - 7/8”

Available for purchase is a digital download, a pdf file able to be immediately printed to your home printer. Download the pattern after payment. Once purchased, the pattern will be in your account forever, and you can download it as many times as you want. Due to the nature of the product there are no refunds.

It is printable in both US letter and A4 sizes. The pages are very easy to assemble, simply match the letters and numbers of the grid and tape or stick glue into position before cutting out.

Please ensure before you print that your printer settings are set to "DO NOT SCALE" (Print actual size)

Please print the page with the test square as a single print job before you send the full pdf document to the printer, with your printer settings on "do not scale". This will print a test size square which you can measure to ensure the pattern will print to the correct size. This square is 10cm (which is just short of 4 inches - 3 15/16")

These print in black ink with grainlines in red ink. You may prefer to change your print settings to "draft" to save ink.

You will need Adobe Reader to read the file and a printer to print out the pattern.
