View A is suitable for wovens or stretch wovens - it allows the cheeks to be exposed, while shaping over the nose and under the chin fits the mask to the face. Best suited to those who feel a little claustrophobic when wearing a mask.

View B is shaped over the nose and under the chin - provides a large amount of face coverage.

View C is similar in shape to a disposable mask.  It has pleats that expand to allow the mask to fit the face. It is a very easy absolute beginners level sew

All masks are lined

Fit Information:

The pattern is a multi-size pattern to fit the size range of Adult - Small (8-12yrs) - Child (3-7 yrs). X-Large is also included for View A & B only.

Fabric Information:

This is a woven fabric pattern designed for natural fibre fabrics 

Medium weight 100% Cotton or Linen, or natural fibres such as Hemp are suitable for both the outer and the inner (lining)

As this is a personal item, fabrics need to be able to be laundered at a high temperature.

To decide on your fabric, place 1 layer of outer and 1 layer of inner fabric together over your mouth and breathe for a few minutes.  If you are comfortable then the fabric is suitable.

Please ensure before you print that your printer settings are set to "DO NOT SCALE" (Print actual size)

Please print the page with the test square as a single print job before you send the full pdf document to the printer, with your printer settings on "do not scale". This will print a test size square which you can measure to ensure the pattern will print to the correct size. There is a square of 10cm, and a square of 4inch

These print in black ink with grainlines in red ink. You may prefer to change your print settings to "draft" to save ink.

You will need Adobe Reader to read the file and a printer to print out the pattern.
