Standard Body Measurement Chart - Metric (cm) and Imperial (inches)

To make a block or sloper from the very beginning you need a full list of measurements.  Either you can use your own, measure a fit model, or your own body, or you can simply use the fashion industry guidelines as to standard sizings.

In addition to the standard Bust, Waist & Hip measurements, you will need additional fashion industry standard measurements for Darts and Armhole depth (depth of scye / armscye).

This download is a 3 page pdf.

- Page one of the chart is for Average height women 160 - 170cm (5'2 1/2" - 5'6 1/2").

- Page two is for Tall women 170 - 178 cm (5' 6 1/2" - 5' 9 1/2").

- Page three is for Shorter (petite) women 152 - 160 cm (4'11 1/2" - 5' 2 1/2").

The Charts will be suitable for Bust measurements between 80 - 132 cm, Waist 60-112 cm, Hip 87-142 cm.  They include measurements for Bust, Waist, Hip, Chest,  Back WIdth, Nape to Waist, Armhole Depth, Shoulder Length, Top Arm, Front Shoulder to Waist, Waist to Hip, Waist to Knee, Waist to Floor, Wrist, Ankle, High Ankle, Half Back Neck, Half Front Neck, Crotch Depth, Sleeve Length, Shoulder to Elbow, Depth of Crown and Sleeve Ease Distribution.

Using the Industry Standard Body Measurements means you will eliminate any beginner errors in taking accurate measurements - and it will allow you to compare your own measurements against a base for comparisons.

To use, find the Bust/Waist/Hip size that most closely resembles your own, then fill in the gaps from the chart in that size - and remember size is only a number - it does not mean that is the size you would purchase in a shop.

To buy this you will need to add it to your cart and then create an account or login - proceed through the checkout as normal.

You will receive an immediate link to the document  - and a confirmation email with the link also.  This e-book does not expire.
